Admire massive cliffs, towering waterfalls and gigantic Chilean rhubarb as Ruta 7 weaves its way through scattered farmlands and dense rainforest before arriving at the sleepy Pacific Ocean port village of Puyuhuapi.
The paved section of the Carretera Austral continues south through La Junta as Ruta 7 penetrates through Reserva Nacional Lago Rosselot. To the east, massive cliff faces provide a backdrop for dramatic waterfalls.

Camping Recommendation
Angostura Camping
On the shore of Lago Risopatron, tucked away from the road and within the limits of Parque Nacional Queulat, Angostura Camping is a tranquil organized campsite and a great option for those trying to avoid Puyuhuapi's pricey accommodation. Park Rangers may stop by to collect payment, however, they don't always show up). While motor vehicles are permitted here, the access roads are narrow and muddy. Fine for cyclists but not so great for big rigs!
